To no surprise, nobu was exactly how I wanted my first experience there to be. First of all our waiter John was absolutely fantastic and really catered to our gluten-free needs as well as providing a fun night for my friend’s birthday. I love my spicy cocktail as I really had a kick an true flavor. I won’t make any spoilers for those who have never been, but the seafood is out of this world with great taste and fresh product. I love the atmosphere in the restaurant as well. Can’t wait to take my friends here again.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Edit: wanted to up my rating thanks to the amazing service I received by our gentleman server who made my afternoon tea session so enjoyable and lovely. I think the afternoon tea is a great place to bring visitors or friends for a cute afternoon spot.Original: with the price being so high and the food not being so delicious. Nobu restaurant is okay. I have been there three times. Two times was to try the afternoon tea which I do think is a little bit of a better experience then the brunch menu. At least the afternoon tea has a really nice setting in. Their Japanese garden with a nice view, but I wasn't the biggest fan of their brunch menu. The rice was too salty. The food was not anything too spectacular but the cost is high If anything, I'd recommend you try l afternoon tea. The tea was delicious.

Nobu Palo Alto delivers an exceptional dining experience! The elegant atmosphere, impeccable service, and innovative dishes make it a standout. The black cod and sushi were absolute highlights—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Nobu Palo Alto never disappoints! And let’s not forget my absolute favorite, the Lychee Martini! Refreshing, perfectly balanced, and a must-try.

For my first time here, I had the omakase, which was absolutely phenomenal and blew my mind. Definitely some of the best sushi I had ever had! Their sashimi is superb. The soup was quite average, probably since I don't really like that style of soup to begin with.It was a bit loud and hard to hear people talk, but overall the experience was good! I'd consider coming back! There's a lot on the mini that'd still be interesting.
